Christmas is here! One of the most exciting things that we do after attending the Simbang Gabi at the Philippines is to look for the traditional kakanin , puto bongbong, kutsinta, and palitaw!
Filipinos have the tradition to make an early dawn mass days before Christmas, this is called simbang gabi. But aside from the solemnity of the occasion, Filipinos give the patience to fall in line for the hot and delicious puto bongbong with grated coconut!
