Sweet Chicken in Pineapple and honey dressing

I find it pretty hard to cope up with my adjustments in food routine and whims because I have been grounded by my doc for six months from eating chicken. Oh, I can't take it and I want to go to the Kitchen and cook my recipes. Do you like sweets? If you are, you might join me cooking Sweet Chicken in Pineapple and Honey dressing here at Pinoyfoodtaste!

Unlike a version of sweet and sour, Sweet Chicken in Pineapple and honey dressing is purely natural and I have to admit it, you will certainly gain fats from it and deviate from your diet for a while. So? It's so delicious that you can't withstand eating!

Ingredients

1/2 kl chicken wings
250 grams sliced pineapple (chunks)
honey 100 grams (to taste)
cooking oil
salt
1 bottle sprite
8 cloves garlic
1 big onion (minced)
soysauce (1 cup)
3 pcs calamansi or 1 lemon
onion leaves

  • Marinate the chicken wings to soy sauce and calamansi for an hour. Bring into boil for 10 minutes. Add 1 cup of Sprite or 7 up. Bring to boil until for 5 minutes, add the pineapple chunks, and bring to boil sauce is thick. Set aside the syrup.
  • Drain the chicken and paste each chicken price with honey.
  • Saute and fry the chicken with garlic and onions over the cooking oil until brown.
  • Prepare the chicken piece, top it with 2 spoons of the boiling syrup with pineapples and onion leaves.
  • Serve hot and crisp.
